Two volumes containing minutes of board of directors' meetings (1907) and stockholder records for the Ely Waneta Mining and Milling Company, which operated a mine in White Pine County, Nev., and apparently had its principal office in Spanish Fork, Utah; together with miscellaneous other documents relating to this company, in which Hughes owned shares and his brother, William B. Hughes, served as president; records of a painting business conducted in southern California, in which Delbert Hughes was a partner; and an account titled "A New Adventure," which was written by Delbert Hughes in either 1947 or 1967, and describes his and his wife Lois's automobile trip from Salt Lake City, Utah, to their new home in San Fernando, Calif., in 1947.
